Nora Logan is a meditation teacher, writer and holistic health coach based in the Tantra and Bhakti traditions. She has been a meditator for over ten years, and a yoga practitioner since she was a child. After graduating from university, she stumbled upon The Art of Living and it helped her to cope with an uncertain future in the wake of a recession. Since then she has studied various modalities: meditation, yoga, shamanic practices and breathwork to fill her toolbox in order to best serve the people she works with.
Nora has trained in Tantra with Adriana Rizzolo, an empowered teacher based in Los Angeles who leads a training called the Power of Love. She is a certified Breathwork Healer, having studied under Erin Telford. Her intuitive healing work is supported by Lindsay McGowen, an intuitive channel based in New Mexico. She is a dedicated kundalini yoga practitioner and has worked extensively with RA MA Institute in New York City and Guru Jagat, having won a scholarship to their Aquarian Women Leadership Society program. She certified as a holistic health coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC and is currently working towards a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate with Leila Sadaghee in London.
I had my first breath work session with Nora last night. If I'm honest, I really didn't know what to expect. Nora made me feel immediately at ease and gently opened our practice. She guided me through the breathing routine that I would follow for around thirty minutes. During the breath work I felt strange tingling sensations through my body intensify. I found it quite difficult to sit with this especially towards the end, but Nora was supportive and encouraging. As we came out of the breath work and into more of a calmer meditative state, I felt a flush of emotions, overwhelming love and gratitude. It was quite the journey and I experienced a beautiful high. Today I feel light and breezy and at ease with my world. I would definitely like to do this practice more often. I was truly surprised by the power of my breath alone and believe this practice is a positive way to recognise and honour emotions that can get buried within ourselves as we go about our day to day.
