I practised meditation for a long time before coming to the realisation that I also wanted to teach it. I did all sorts of courses to find what worked for me, I tried all different techniques and teachers.
I spent a lot of time in a somewhat misguided search for that "perfect" way of "doing" meditation. The thing is (and please let my younger self know this), there is no one perfect way to meditate. And you don't really "do" meditation, much as I might have tried (and sometimes still do). What I learned over many years of making myself the guinea pig is that you do have to bespoke your practice to make it work for you.
With that in mind, I've built a FREE mini-course for you! It's a 5 day pre-recorded course to help you implement basic building blocks to get you to a regular meditation practice. You can use it at any time to get inspired to sit.
